TEXAS II
He wanted it to be known that he is still the master at meeting the ladies. He is. As you have probably gathered by now, I am still in Dallas. It is not that I wanted to be in Dallas so badly. My car still won't start. So, until I report more, I just may be stayin in Dallas even longer. But it was fun to hang with the Valdez Master and Philbo. But I should point out that regardless of what I do, I'll be in Texas for a long time. Traveling through TEXAS is not a simple thing. In the best of situations, it will take two days. These are not the best of situations.
Tonight will be a shorter than usual report. I ate at Denny's again today while waiting for a tow truck. I think they are going to name an All-You-Can-Eat-Meal after me. I just have to eat there one more time and It's done. The MAX MEAL!
I woke up at noon and LaVallee picked me up. We called Triple A and they came about an hour later. They couldn't fix my car. I can hang in Dallas 'til Monday or keep moving. I think I'm gonna risk it. If I keep moving and my car breaks down, you'll know. The heat of Texas will get to me. My next installment will make little sense, the following one will make even less sense. After that, my updates will make less and less sense. Eventually I'll be dead. Pray for me. This does not have to be the situation. If you, the reader, pray for me, I just may pull through. I don't know what the links are, but if you click on the NET SEARCH button, and type in: "Pray For Max," I'm sure my prayers will be answered.
I'm gonna put some pictures here that don't make much sense. Reason is that I didn't take very many pictures today. Actually, I only took one. Kendall had wanted me to take some Sea Monkeys with me on this trip and keep a daily journal. I fear the second installment of the journal would have read something like this: "The Sea Monkeys Are Dead!" It's time for me to go to sleep. By this time tomorrow, I will have supplied you with a picture of a dead Armadillo. I promise.
Keep this picture of Mike LaVallee. It may be the only time you see him with his hair messed up. This might also be a good time to thank my former boss, Nathan Hoffman, for lending me his camera. THANKS NATHAN!
